Pay checks are entered into the BasicBooks General Journal automatically after each printing. The General Ledger is not posted until you want the journal entries posted. You will not be able to change these entries after they have been placed into the General Journal. To view these entries in the General Journal select the View Unposted Entries for the General Journal. To post these entries to the respective ledger accounts you must use the the General Journal posting options, just the same as for any other entry in the respective journals.
