The PaperSaver option of the General Ledger allows you to print two pages of data on one page of paper. This makes it possible to cut your paper use by one-half for these reports. Each page of data will occupy 1/2 the sheet of paper. Two pages will be printed side-by-side. PaperSaver is only available for reports which would otherwise be lengthy. These reports are indicated on the menus by an asterisk (*) before the report name on the menus.
To use PaperSaver select;
The PaperSaver switch can be toggled ON and OFF. When you start the General Ledger the PaperSaver is set to OFF. Once you have set PaperSaver to ON it stays ON until you reset it to OFF or exit the General Ledger. When the PaperSaver is set to ON reports that recognize the PaperSaver option (*) can only be printed on the system printer - they can not be saved to a disk file. Once the PaperSaver is set to OFF these reports may be printed and saved to a disk file. Reports that do not recognize the PaperSaver option can be both printed and saved to a disk file at all times.
